Bronia & Aidan

Bronia Chichlowska & Aidan Cross | 8th October 2016 | Pembrokeshire

Set in the heart of St David’s I arrived at the Cathedral a little early to take in its beauty and serenity. It was a gorgeous warm October day and slowly but surely the guests, groom and ushers started to arrive walking down the big winding path.

Shortly after around the corner appeared 7 very lovely smiley bridesmaids (and some random ramblers) in Navy gowns which were all different in styles and each one stunning in its own way.

I am not at weddings to interfere, although I of course do formal or group photos if requested my style is to simply capture the love, emotion and real moments!

Bronia arrived with her Dad and from the moment I saw her in the car she had the biggest beaming grin on her face.

Her dress was a Charlotte Balbier (one of my favourite designers) which she got from the very lovely Sally at White Bride - Narberth. Her hair was done by Sabrina at Todaros & make up by her soon to be sister in law Laura! The gorgeous rustic Flowers & Buttonholes were dried and arranged by Bronia and her bridesmaids.

Aidan awaited eagerly at the alter in his grey suit from Moss Bros. The ceremony was beautiful and Dorrien the reverent was as comical and charming as always, I welled up more than once!

How do you arrange a group photo of 200 people? With lots of confidence and positivity! After the ceremony the couple took their time to greet their guests so I did what I do best and got lots of gorgeous candid laughter and smiles.

Being a wedding photographer running backwards has become a real skill of mine, but I have never had a couple sprint down the confetti isle before! Proud to say I didn’t fall backwards. This confetti shot is one of my absolute favourites of all time, a real runaway couple.

It was then onto Carfai Bay, it had been a few years since i’d been there and I think i’d forgotten just how stunning it was. I was blown away by the colours and calmness, we took 15 minutes to ourselves to get some adorable bride and groom portraits, aren’t they just the sweetest?

It was then onto Camrose where a giant Ti-P from TiPi events awaited the guests, covered in fairy lights and bunting . It was a really relaxed atmosphere with everyone sat around on hay bails by the fires making the most of the evening fading light. How lush is the little one in his bobble hat, he didn’t stop smiling all day!

After the speeches, food and cutting of the cake the band started up - Bronia contacted the local band through Dan Messore (Guitar) who got the group together for their beautiful jazz tunes! I always make sure I hang around after the first dance to whack the flash on and catch the epic dance moves!

Such a lovely day to be a part of, thank you both for letting me capture it for you.
