Runaway Wedding

Jo & Steve | 25th April 2017 | Nantwen, Pembrokeshire

Being my first ever elopement/runaway wedding I was very excited to be a part of the day. The wedding took place at the beautiful Nantwen in Pembrokeshire, Surrounded by forests and fields Jo & Steve stayed in their own little cottage and got ready together in the morning.

When I arrived Jo looked like something out of a fairytale, her gorgeous bright hair (styled by the talented Katie) was in a loose fishtail plat with ivy woven into it which she’d foraged that morning from the trees outside! Her elegant dress was from the lovely Sally at White Bride and her flowers by Deborah kept in with the natural forest theme.

It wasn’t long before it was time for the ‘I do’s’, breaking tradition Jo & Steve walked in together. It was a beautiful, intimate and emotional ceremony with just the two of them and two witness’s from Nantwen. It was a real blessing for me to be a part of it!

Afterwards it was back to the cottage for some bubbly and cake made by one of Jo’s talented friends. We then ventured out into the surrounding forests for some portraits, I absolutely love this set and can’t thank Jo & Steve enough for letting me be a part of their most intimate and special day.
